My top three goals upon starting the 6-month program were to gain strength again after a serious injury to my legs, to gain balance again after my injury, and to gain confidence that I could get better and improve my physical capabilities.

Maura was able to help me work toward these goals.  She was amazingly patient, like she had gone through my experience herself,  she had expectations of me but did not apply a stressful pressure, she had confidence in me when I didn’t in myself.

The biggest tangible change I have noticed since beginning the program has been increased strength, balance, flexibility and less pain when I do my program, even semi consistently. 

The most significant overall change I have noticed has been increased strength, better balance, able to perform tasks and movements I couldn’t before, and less pain.

Maura is empathetic, kind, compassionate, relatable, personable, intelligent, capable, great teacher, adaptable, and creative.  

I would recommend Maura to anyone who wants to feel better again physically. Maura makes you feel so comfortable that you don't realize you're working so hard and she is very understanding of your fears and anxieties you may have. She could help anyone, young or old, fit or not.

Maura is a great teacher. She varied my routine and lessons each time so I never got bored. I wish I could study with Maura every day!!

 Simply put, Maura makes my life better. I have enjoyed private yoga classes with her for about a year, had a terrific cooking lesson, and engaged her to make hearty, delicious soups for my mother whose medical condition severely limited her swallowing. Soon I will start health coaching with her. 

Everything Maura does is with careful attention to and detailed, thoughtful consideration of the needs of her client. With yoga, she brings me along at my ideal pace, speaks in a way I can follow, is very encouraging, and she opens my mind by beginning each session with an inspiring poem or quote around which she builds the class. With her guidance, I am thriving. 

When making the soups, Maura asked good questions and did research to understand the right qualities required for my mother. She considered the texture of the food to achieve the desired consistency while maintaining the flavors. My mother was delighted. 

I have been thinking about improving my eating habits, and am excited to start working with Maura to help me catapult into an effective program I know I will enjoy. Maura is a good problem solver and motivator. She is a gem and I highly recommend her - five stars!

I have really enjoyed Maura’s food blog. She always comes up with different twists on recipes with a focus on keeping it healthy. I have tried a number of her recipes and my favorite so far is the lemon blueberry bread – it is to die for! I highly recommend trying some of her recipes!
